Tap dance lessons for kids

Tap dance is a dynamic and exciting style that helps dancers develop rhythm, musicality, timing, and coordination – all while having a blast making music with their feet! At Jigsaw Dance Studio, our tap classes are available for children from primary school through to high school. We focus on building strong tap technique and skill progressions appropriate to each age and level. Our classes explore both classic ‘old-style’ tap and modern choreography, giving students a well-rounded understanding of the history and evolution of tap dancing.
